In today's world, organizations whether corporate or non-profit all face the impact of high-speed change from external and internal forces. Market globalization and competition, shifting customer tastes, introductions of new technologies, economic fluctuations, and diversity all push for increasing change skills. Companies are asked to build flexibility into their structure and systems. Leaders and their employees are called upon to adapt constantly to shifts in responsibilities, required skills and new collaborative relationships with each other, vendors, and customers.
